I have always preferred seated/plated to buffet, but I won7;u̵ldt complain either way.One thing to consider is the guest list. Sheer number may prevent you from doing a buffet. The more people, the less practical a buffet is.If it is a more formal/fancy affair (the menu has me thinking it is) then DEFINITELY go with plated. It is the more formal way to serve dinner.
